OUR PROJECTS:

Turnkey Operations.

MACON PAPER KRAFT MILL: Chemical Recovery Plant. Total contract amount:$5 million	SCM Glidco: A 13-stage absorption tower was built. This turnkey operation included fabrication and erection of all 11 processing tanks underneath. The tower was Class I Group D explosion-proof. Total contract amount: $1 million.	WEYERHAEUSER, Georgia This bio-filter and stainless steel exhaust system included tilt-up panels, concrete, fabrication of structural steel and duct work.
COTTONSEED EXTRACTION PLANT, Louisiana. This plant was the first in the U.S. to use a De Smet extractor. We performed all phases of the concrete, steel fab and erect and process piping as a turnkey operation. Total contract cost: $3 million	GOLD KIST, GEORGIA. This pet food facility included tilit-up panels, concrete, fabrication of structural steel, elevators, conveyors, chutes and turnhead.	PCS, White Springs, Florida This was a challenging concrete spillway job which required quick and accurate execution. We had to break down, maintain and rebuild a dike which controlled the separation of pH2 water from pH neutral water.

STEEL FABRICATION .

This stainless steel expansion joint was fabricated for a hot gas duct off of a sulfur furnace.

Formosa Plastics production facilty in Texas.
This pressure vessel was built by Hunt. Designed for both pressure and vacuum capabilities, this tank included interior and exterior 1/2" pipe coils.

PCS, White Springs, FLorida.

This crossover duct with two expansion joints was fabricated.

TEMPLE RECON, Texas

Able of withstanding temperatures of 275 degrees and 150 psi of operating pressure, these autoclaves were 1 1/8" thick, 10 1/2' in diameter, and 115' in length.

This 175000 sq. ft facility was fabricated and erected in half the time of owner's original project schedule by incorporating a jig lift system.

3000 linear feet of galvanized conveyors were fabricated and erected for this chip storage facility.

FOOD AND AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY

ConAgra feed mill in Falkville, Alabama.

Hunt built these grain storage tanks.The foundations, aeration systems, and three bins were built for a total contract amount of $750,000.

FIELDDALE FARMS, Toccoa, Georgia.

Hunt constructed these raw material screw conveyors.

CAGLE FOODS, Camilla, Georgia.

Hatcheries are a Hunt specialty.

PHARMACEUTICAL AND CHEMICAL INDUSTRY.

Hunt fabricated and erected the structural steel for this Sterling Pulp Chemical facility, as well as the performing the construction of the metal building.

Total contract amount: $3 million.

This process piping was installed for a pharmaceutical production facility as part of a turnkey construction operation.

Hunt performed the process engineering and installation for this chemical recovery system.

METAL BUILDINGS.

This 500,000 sq.foot Adel, Georgia facility was completed for JM Manufacturing in just over 6 months.

Hunt built this wood chip retrieving facility for Weyerhaeuser's Adel, Georgia operations, in addition to fabricating and erecting the structural steel and conveyors.

Extensive metal buiding work was done for this Archer Daniels Midland project. ADM contracted Hunt to build 4 cotton seed warehouses, a 60' truck dumper, receiving pit, scales, conveyors, structural steel, elevators, a cotton seed oil refining building and fabricated tanks.

ENVIRONMENTAL.

This 5 mil. liner was installed in a battery plant to protect the environment from acid contamination.

This waste water treatment plant lagoon was constructed for Charoen Pokhand's poultry plant.

This process sump pit was installed with a 5 mil. liner to contain sulphuric acid for reclamation.
